Outbuildings like this are deceptively demanding. The structure is simple, so there is nowhere to hide a mistake: the slab, the framing, and the door opening all have to be right the first time, and the proportions have to look deliberate rather than improvised.
The oversized overhead door drove much of the layout — it sets the working clearance inside and the structural requirements above the opening. A separate service entry keeps everyday foot traffic independent of the main door, so the building stays usable without opening it up.
The exterior was finished for durability and low upkeep, which is what makes a building like this still look right years after it goes up.
