A high-visibility retail build — structural canopy work, fuel infrastructure, and a finished storefront, taken from site work to a fully-lit station.
A full fuel station and convenience store build — the wide "76"-branded fuel canopy with its signature lighting, multiple pump islands, and an attached convenience store. Prewitt Construction managed the project from site work through the finished, fully-lit station shown here at dusk.
A station like this is really three projects stacked on one site. The canopy is structural work with a branded finish and a lighting package that has to read cleanly from the road after dark. The pump islands sit on a coordinated fuel-infrastructure layout underneath. And the convenience store is a finished retail storefront in its own right, built to open for business.
Keeping those three tracks lined up is the job — the site work, the canopy structure, the fuel systems, and the store all have to land together, in the right order, for the station to open as one finished piece.
The dusk photographs in this set show why the lighting package matters so much on a retail fuel site: the canopy, the pump islands, and the storefront all have to stay legible and inviting at exactly the hours the station does its best business.
This is also the build featured in the video on our homepage — the same project, captured from blueprint through to the finished station.
